Reason being it is to be given to virgin heifers.  So in my herd being a virgin heifer (not it doesn't say virgin calf) would be a doeling about 7 months old, being that I normally bred at 8 months.  Now that I am breeding my girls at 11, 12 and 13 months, than virgin is older.  I do the series, two 5cc shots 21 days apart, then everyone is bolstered 3 weeks before they kid.  Vicki
